Call for OGP Commitments - Irelands 3rd National Action Plan

admin • 9 November 2021

The call for submissions for commitments for Ireland's Third National Action Plan is now open until the 26th November!

Commitments must be related to one of the four pillars of the Open Government Partnership:

  • Transparency: Is the proposed action disclosing more information, improving the quality of the information disclosed, improving accessibility of information to the public or enabling the right to information?
  • Civic Participation: Is the proposed action creating or improving opportunities, or capabilities for the public to inform or influence decisions? Is the proposed action creating or improving the enabling environment for civil society?
  • Public Accountability: Is the proposed action creating or improving rules, regulations, and mechanisms to publicly hold government officials answerable for their actions?

There is also a focus on new technologies and innovation.

Template for responses

The Open Government Proposed Action Template  is available to download from this page. This is the format in which you must submit your proposed action. It captures the Open Government Partnership requirements for actions and will support a fair, transparent and consistent process.

All submissions received will be reviewed, collated and shared with the Open Government Round Table members and the relevant public sector officials for their consideration. We will share the outcome of this process with those who make submissions.

Further information is available on the Dept. of Public Expenditure and Reform's website here.
